About the Role

StudioX News is looking for a Social Media and Community Coordinator to manage our daily audience engagement across major social platforms and community spaces. This role is about keeping our audience informed, active, and connected while supporting newsroom distribution goals.

You will work closely with editors and producers to schedule content, moderate conversations, and help expand our reach across English and multilingual audiences. This position suits someone who is responsive, organized, and comfortable in a digital-first media environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily posting across Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Build and moderate WhatsApp, Facebook, and Telegram community groups.




- Respond to comments and messages in a professional manner.
- Escalate corrections and important audience feedback to editors.
- Maintain the content calendar and coordinate posting times.
- Report weekly on reach, engagement, and follower growth.

Qualifications
- Fluent English and familiarity with major social platforms.
- Clear, professional communication with the public.
- Ability to stay organized and follow a daily schedule.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required.

Assets
- A second language, especially Punjabi, Hindi, or Tagalog.
- Experience managing social accounts, group communities, or a personal channel with a real audience.
- Familiarity with audience engagement and content scheduling tools.

Pay: $18.25-$45.58 per hour
