To continue to fuel our growth, we are seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to join our KYB (Know Your Business) Engineering team. Trulioo's KYB team is responsible for building and enhancing our global business verification product,



enabling customers to confidently verify companies and comply with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, KYB, you will play a key role in delivering scalable, high-quality solutions, integrating with global data partners, and evolving our platform to meet the needs of a rapidly growing customer base. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust systems, while contributing to technical standards and mentoring junior engineers.

This will be a full-time, permanent position working out of the Vancouver office on a hybrid model (3 days per week in the office).

Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, end-to-end features within Trulioo's KYB product line. Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to break down user stories into actionable tasks and deliver against planned releases. Design scalable, robust, and reusable solutions based on business and technical requirements.

Build and maintain integrations with global data partners and third-party services. Document and communicate technical designs and decisions clearly to the team. Participate in and contribute to code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions.

Contribute to coding standards, best practices, and continuous improvement of development processes. Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies across technical and delivery dimensions. Provide technical input into planning, including evaluating trade-offs and proposing alternative solutions.

Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to elevate overall team capability. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of software engineering experience developing production-grade applications. Strong experience developing applications and APIs using C#, .NET / .NET Core,



and modern web technologies.

Experience with frontend technologies such as React and JavaScript is an asset. Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and RESTful APIs.

Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and related services is an asset. Proficiency with source control systems such as Git.

Experience with unit testing frameworks and test automation, with a strong focus on code quality. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. It’s a bonus if you have…
