Position Overview

1.0 FTE Temporary full‑time teaching position, Grade 4 to 7, beginning September 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027.

This teaching position is based at the Atomic Hockey Academy in Langley, B.C.

Required Qualifications
Training and experience working with grade‑level students.
Knowledge and experience working with Brightspace.
Experience adapting materials, resources, assessments and learning outcomes for student needs.
Willingness to travel throughout the region as needed.
Valid B.C. Teaching Certificate and familiarity with the B.C. Curriculum.
Teaching category five or higher.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the Standards for K‑12 Distributed Learning in British Columbia.
A commitment to supporting a variety of learning needs.
Experience or training in supporting the social‑emotional learning needs of students.
Committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Committed to working as a member of a school team in support of students.

Salary

The starting annual salary for this full‑time teacher position ranges from $66,604 to $116,190, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
