Role Description The Software Engineer at AURA OS will design, develop, and maintain core software components that power the company’s cognitive intelligence platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and maintainable code, performing code reviews, debugging and optimizing existing systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, data science, and infrastructure. The role involves translating product requirements into technical solutions, contributing to system architecture decisions, and ensuring software reliability, performance, and security.

This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Canada, requiring regular collaboration with team members in a dynamic, engineering-driven workplace.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.

Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar).

Hands-on experience with Back-End Web Development and building scalable services or APIs.

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an asset.

Ability to work on-site in Canada and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Interest in AI, machine learning, or intelligent systems and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to writing reliable, testable code.
