At FOLKS, we create high-end visual effects for film and television by combining exceptional artists with a collaborative, production-first approach. We're looking for an experienced VFX Producer to lead projects from award through final delivery, balancing client expectations, budgets, schedules, resources, and creative goals every step of the way.

Working closely with VFX Supervisors, production teams, department leads, and clients, you'll play a key role in delivering projects on time, on budget, and at the quality our clients expect.

What You'll Do
Lead one or more VFX projects from award through final delivery.
Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and delivery plans.
Build, track, and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communication, reviews, and feedback.
Partner with VFX Supervisors, Production Managers, Coordinators, and Department Leads to align creative and production priorities.
Ensure projects are appropriately staffed and work with studio leadership to anticipate resource needs.
Monitor project scope, identify risks,



and implement solutions to keep productions on track.
Oversee outsourcing vendors and associated budgets when required.
Maintain accurate reporting on project status, costs, schedules, and delivery progress.
Support bidding, scope assessments, and change management throughout production.
Continuously look for ways to improve workflows, communication, and production efficiency.

What We're Looking For
Experience producing visual effects for feature film, episodic television, or streaming productions.
A solid understanding of the VFX production pipeline from bidding through final delivery.
Proven experience managing schedules, budgets, client relationships, and production teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced setting.
Experience with ShotGrid (Shotgun) and advanced Excel skills.
Experience with Filmmaker or similar budgeting software is considered an asset.
