Join IHAC as a Community Maintenance Support qualified, focusing on the upkeep of properties that serve individuals with disabilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance across various locations.
You will report to the Maintenance Manager and engage in diverse tasks including facility repairs, landscaping, and safety inspections. Your hands-on experience and familiarity with building systems will be essential in creating a comfortable workplace for those we serve. Be prepared for a variety of responsibilities that ensure operational excellence within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out general maintenance tasks and necessary repairs
• Assist in the upkeep of vital mechanical and electrical systems




• Implement landscaping and grounds maintenance efficiently
• Ensure contractor coordination and project timelines are met
• Participate in after-hours on-call as needed
Requirements:
• One year of maintenance experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is necessary
• Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
