As a Production Lead in Mississauga, you’ll be at the forefront of enhancing food safety and production efficiency in our plant. Lead a dedicated team and meet production objectives with adherence to safety guidelines.
Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities encompass supervising production associates and optimizing workflow for kitting, processing, and packaging. You will ensure compliance with GMP, train current hires effectively, and manage the sanitation processes to uphold food safety standards. Your proactive approach to problem-solving will help maintain performance KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and schedule production associate tasks
• Monitor and report on production progress




• Conduct cleaning and sanitation of production areas
• Provide training on machinery and safety protocols
• Communicate with management about production challenges
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years in food production or similar environments
• Ability to lift and move heavy items
