Job Title: D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant

Location: Remote (Canada) | Up to 30% Travel

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Solid Potential for Extension up to 12 Months)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;) Functional Consultant to support ongoing implementation and optimization initiatives. This is a fully remote opportunity based in Canada with up to 30% travel to client sites as needed.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned functional consultant with strong business process expertise who can gather requirements, configure D365 F&O;, and partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable ERP solutions.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Lead discovery sessions and business process workshops across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related business areas.
Configure and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to align with business objectives.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
Support full lifecycle implementations, enhancements, and post-go-live optimization efforts.
Develop functional design documentation, process maps, and user stories.




Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production deployments.
Provide end-user training and create functional documentation.
Partner with developers, architects, and project managers to ensure successful solution delivery.
Recommend best practices and drive continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications:
4+ years of hands-on experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant.
Experience delivering multiple end-to-end D365 F&O; implementations.
Robust functional knowledge in one or more of the following:
Finance
Supply Chain Management
Procurement & Sourcing
Inventory Management
Manufacturing
Warehouse Management
Excellent business process analysis and requirements gathering skills.
Solid client-facing communication and stakeholder management experience.
Experience supporting testing, training, and post-go-live support.
Ability to travel up to 30% throughout Canada.

Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations certifications.
Previous consulting experience.
Experience with Azure DevOps or Agile project delivery.
