Transfer Administrator

Date: September 2026

Location: Dartmouth, NS (In office)

Shift Work: Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays

Employment Type: Full Time Permanent and Term positions available.

Responsibilities
Take non-emergency calls and perform administration.
Maintain accurate record keeping.
Coordinate patient transfers and liaise with hospitals.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of required paperwork, reports, and service inquiries.
Process requests for non-urgent transport using proper telecommunications techniques.
Advocate excellent customer service and handle inquiries professionally.

Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 and one year business or medical terminology college course, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications and ability to type 25 wpm accurately.
Experience in a call centre or clinical/medical/hospital workplace is an asset.
Standard first aid/CPR certificate (asset).
EMD certification (asset).




Knowledge of medical terminology (asset).
Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
Positive attitude, self-motivation, and high performance standards.
Technical efficiency with all Communication Centre equipment.
Excellent communication, customer service, and listening skills.
Preferably bilingual and able to work day shifts from 0600 to 1800 seven days a week.
