Role Description

The Associate Grants & Strategy Consultant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Vancouver, BC, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves researching and analyzing government programs, grants, and financing options relevant to startup and technology clients, as well as preparing clear, data-driven recommendations and supporting application processes. The consultant will collaborate with senior team members to develop strategic plans that maximize client savings across tax credits, grants, AI solutions, and tech spend optimization.



Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and interpreting financial and operational data, drafting client-facing materials and presentations, coordinating with clients to gather required information, and tracking project progress and outcomes. The role requires proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders and a strong focus on measurable client results.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial, operational, and program-related data.
- Experience in consulting or management consulting, ideally in finance, technology, or startup environments.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Foundational understanding of finance concepts, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time between in-office collaboration in Vancouver, BC and remote work.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Interest in government programs, grants, and AI/technology solutions; prior experience in these areas is an asset.
- Comfort with data tools and productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM systems, project management tools).
