Reporting to the Manager, you will engage in essential repair tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of hospital facilities. Your duties include operating the Building Automation System (BAS) and performing critical maintenance tasks on various systems, including heating and cooling loops. This role supports overall patient safety and service quality, with occasional responsibilities including grounds maintenance at the General or Birchmount campus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain heating, cooling, and medical gas systems
• Operate chillers, boilers,



and related equipment
• Conduct routine tests and safety inspections on systems
• Participate in snow removal and other maintenance tasks
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Red Seal Ontario Certificate or Operating Engineering credential
• Previous experience in plant or facilities operations
• Adept at reading schematics and blueprints
• Communicates effectively in English
• Commitment to professionalism and workplace standards
