In this senior managerial role, you will lead environmental and health safety programs within Aecon's fabrication operations. Partnering closely with operational leaders, you’ll implement EHS management systems and promote a robust culture of nuclear safety. You will play a crucial role in mentoring a team of EHS Advisors while supporting compliance and proactive risk management across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead EHS performance and visible field leadership
• Implement Aecon’s EHS Management System and site EHS plans
• Manage industrial hygiene risks and environmental compliance
• Champion nuclear safety culture and procedural adherence
• Represent Aecon in EHS matters with stakeholders
Requirements:
• 7+ years of EHS experience in heavy industry
• Preferred experience in fabrication or nuclear environments
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Canadian Registered Safety Skilled designation required
• Solid digital fluency with safety software tools
