Home Support Worker – Elderly (Full Time)

We are looking for a full time Home Support Worker for the elderly.

Responsibilities

- Administer medications: Manage and assist with the administration of prescribed medications.
- Assist with personal hygiene: Help clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal care.
- Provide personal care: Deliver dedicated physical assistance as required.
- Assist in regular exercise: Accompany and assist the client with walking and routine physical activities.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals: Plan, cook, and serve healthy meals tailored to the client’s needs.
- Shop for food and household supplies: Perform grocery shopping and maintain household inventory.
- Provide companionship: Offer social interaction and emotional support within the home.
- Perform light housekeeping: Maintain a clean living environment through light cleaning and tidying.

Requirements

- A secondary (high)



school graduation certificate is required.
- A CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate are required.
- Experience is an asset.
- A criminal record check and a medical exam are required.
- Personal suitability includes reliability, honesty, patience, and a client focus.
