As part of the Allied Health RACMMG team, you will engage in assessment, treatment, and follow-up for both ambulatory and inpatient services. This role requires clinical expertise in women’s health, working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary workplace to enhance patient outcomes. You’ll play a crucial role in staff education and professional development while sharing caseload responsibilities with fellow physiotherapists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessment and intervention for prenatal and postpartum clients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Participate in education for patients and healthcare staff
• Engage in weekend standby and call-back duties as needed
• Support the development of physiotherapy services
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited Physiotherapy Program
• Licensed or eligible for practice in Nova Scotia
• Minimum two years of clinical experience
• Knowledge of women’s health best practices
• Commitment to evidence-based practice
