Support the investigation of Indigenous women and two-spirit artisans’ business needs as a Research Assistant with Dr. Jacqueline Romanow in Winnipeg. This term position offers an engaging chance to connect with communities, conduct interviews, and analyze data.
As a Research Assistant, you will play a vital role in understanding business development challenges among Indigenous entrepreneurs. You will assist in background research, participant outreach, and data collection while working closely under the supervision of a senior researcher. Completing required ethics training, your contributions will help shape the outcomes of this significant project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and revise research materials and survey instruments
• Conduct thorough academic research and writing




• Analyze data from interviews and questionnaires
• Prepare articles and reports for publication
• Assist in identifying publication opportunities for the research team
Requirements:
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Enrolled in an undergraduate program at the University of Winnipeg
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
