Overview

Your role as a System Emulation Engineer involves executing and debugging issues with validation, FW, and IP teams to meet product development milestones. During pre-silicon emulation, investigate and provide support for system issues that are found in firmware, hardware, or software. Having 5 years of experience in debugging at low levels and emulating SoCs and embedded systems, and their associated software/firmware debugging. Skilled in troubleshooting emulation systems. Having proficiency in Verilog, C, C++, assembly, TCL/TK, Python, or other scripting languages. A comprehensive comprehension of BIOS and other firmware components. Familiarity with and application of standard debuggers, programmers, and related tools and methodologies. Responsibilities (example)

Execute and debug issues with validation, firmware, and IP teams to meet product development milestones during pre-silicon emulation.
