Position: Licensed Electrician (309A/442A)

Location: Hamilton, ON

Shift & Pay:
Shift: Morning / Afternoon Shift, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $30 - $40 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, network and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, electrical motors, generators, storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
Occasionally modify, maintain, test,



and document PLC programs at a basic level
Provide Engineering Department feedback on design improvements in the form of written Engineering Change Request
Perform in office installation, servicing, and repair for commissioning or warranty work on customer finished products

Qualifications & Skills
Licensed Construction & Maintenance (309A) or Industrial (442) Electrician preferably with an interprovincial ticket or red seal
Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial or commercial setting.
Must be open to travel to USA
PLC Programming skills (basic level) would be considered an asset.
Ability to travel within North America with a valid passport and driver's license.
Power & Energy/Oil & Gas experience in an electrical engineering setting is an advantage.
