This position requires a current College of Nurses certificate as well as certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and IV administration. Successful candidates will have recent medical nursing experience, including in palliative care, and outstanding assessment and communication skills. Flexibility to work all shifts and weekends is essential to meet departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in the Medicine department as required
• Administer IV medications and start IVs as necessary
• Supervise and support other nursing staff as charge nurse




• Ensure adherence to safety and performance standards
• Attend to patient assessments and perform necessary evaluations
Requirements:
• Current College of Nurses certificate and nursing qualifications
• Certification in BCLS, ACLS, and IV skills
• Recent experience in medical nursing and palliative care
• Commitment to ongoing education in nursing practices
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends
