Your Focus As Finance Manager at CF Corporation, your focus is to ensure the business has clear, accurate, and timely financial insight to support strong decision-making. You will take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and control – providing senior leaders with a reliable view of performance, risk, and opportunity across all of our firms. This is a hands-on role grounded in operational reality. You’ll manage month-end and year-end processes, maintain robust financial controls, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions, while also contributing commercially through analysis, planning, and strategic input. The role balances rigour with partnership. Alongside safeguarding financial integrity, you’ll work closely with regional teams and senior management to align financial strategy with business objectives, support growth, and improve performance. Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of accurate financial statements and management reports Lead month-end and year-end close processes in line with group timelines Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing clear insight to senior management Lead regional budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with department heads Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions where required Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements Manage tax compliance across relevant jurisdictions, working with external advisors as needed Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets Act as the primary point of contact for auditors and manage audit processes through to resolution Support senior leadership with financial input into strategic planning and investment decisions Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital Oversee payroll processes in coordination with third-party providers Partner with regional and cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and financial objectives Identify, assess, and help mitigate financial risks across the business Manage, mentor, and develop members of the finance team, promoting high standards and accountability This role is about ensuring finance actively supports the business, not producing reports in isolation.

You approach financial challenges with structure and sound judgement, and you are comfortable making decisions with incomplete or evolving information. You bring pace, resilience, and attention to detail, and you work effectively with senior stakeholders without needing excessive direction. You can engage confidently in professional discussions, consider alternative perspectives, and use them to strengthen financial insight and decision-making. This role suits someone who is commercially minded, disciplined, and prepared to be accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and impact of their work. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent (or actively working towards) At least three years of experience in accounting or finance roles with increasing responsibility Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Working knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements Experience managing audits and working with external advisors Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into transparent insight We are open to considering candidates with experience outside of these brackets, if you feel you have the capabilities to deliver on our main criteria. Successful applicants will be invited to an initial interview with our HR team, followed by a conversation with one of our Partners. We will ask you a series of interpersonal and technical questions, so we can understand how you think, your motivation, and the experience you bring. Subject to the outcome of the initial interviews, the next and final stage involves attending our Canada office. We typically select five candidates at this stage. You will take part in exercises that allows us to assess how you interact with people, form solutions and manage ambiguity. You will also meet with two Partners in the firm to further discuss your career aspirations, expertise and discuss scenarios to understand your capacity to think. All reasonable travel and accommodation expenses related to the process will be covered. Feedback is provided at the end of the day, and in some cases an unconditional offer may be made. We have also been known to hire more than one person, depending on capability. Reward Structure An annual base salary of 160,000 and up to 200,000 Canadian Dollars, depending on experience and degree level (Bachelor, Master, PhD) Bonus program of on-target bonus of 40% of base salary and up to 80% for high-achievers Hybrid working is embedded in the fabric of our firm.
