Senior Financial Analyst

Mayzon is a leading supplier of bathroom and household products such as shower curtains

and rods, slipcovers, medicine cabinets and more. Our products are offered in most major

retail stores in Canada and the United States.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Work directly with all members of Mayzon Group’s (Mayzon) finance team

• Involved in all aspects of reporting for Mayzon – internal, external, statutory,

management

• Collaborates & communicates regularly with members of Mayzon C-level executive

team as well as members of other departments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries across four divisions

• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements

• Prepare and maintain lease schedules (IFRS 16) and fixed asset continuity

schedules

• Prepare monthly sales dashboard and communicate with executive team

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual communications with lenders

• Coordinate the annual year-end audit & preparation of annual audited financial

statements (including note disclosures)





• Participate in preparation of monthly financial results presentation to finance team,

including CFO

• Participate in contract review and analysis in accordance with IFRS

• Participate in preparation of annual impairment analysis in accordance with IFRS

• Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns (US and Canada)

• Participate in the implementation of a new ERP

• Participate in documentation of accounting policies and procedures

• Various ad-hoc requests (C-Level executives and others)

• Other assignments as assigned

Desired Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications

• CPA Required

• 2+ years of accounting firm experience, working with audit engagement

• English required (verbal and written)only screen
