The Emergency Department RN plays a critical role in patient care, working directly with individuals and families facing medical emergencies. This position involves fulfilling primary care responsibilities while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to foster Person-Focused Care. Selected candidates will participate in a sponsored Emergency Department Certificate program, providing a pathway to a full time position post-certification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage care for Emergency/Trauma patients
• Implement necessary patient interventions and education




• Advocate for patient welfare and support families
• Collaborate with team members for effective care delivery
• Engage in person-centered care practices
Requirements:
• Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Two years acute care hospital experience
• Preferred baccalaureate degree in Nursing
• Mandatory B.C.L.S. certification
• Ongoing education in Emergency Nursing initiatives
