Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Station Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety standards, excellent food handling skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

The Station

Cook will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking station, adhering to food safety protocols
- Serve food promptly and courteously to guests or service staff
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Experience

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in the food industry or similar fast-paced settings is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
