12 month contract hybrid (8 times a month onsite in Toronto)

Summary

As an Agile Business Analyst, you will work on cross‑functional initiatives to define, analyze and document business requirements while ensuring alignment with technology teams.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, support application development (including mobile solutions), and facilitate business readiness activities.

You bring experience with Agile delivery (Scrum or equivalent) and practical exposure to CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning & Analysis

- Lead discovery sessions, clarify scope, define deliverables and support project estimation.
- Recommend the appropriate delivery approach (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Plan increments of work for iterative delivery and determine priorities with stakeholders.
- Establish tools and documentation standards (Confluence, templates, traceability).

2. Requirements & Solution Design

- Analyze current vs. future state and ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Conduct workshops, gather requirements, validate understanding and document changes.
- Manage the full requirements lifecycle, including traceability and impact assessment.
- Collaborate with business SMEs and IS teams to refine solution options.

3. Consultation, Support & Business Readiness

- Act as the bridge between business units and IS, translating business needs into system requirements.
- Provide expertise on operational processes, applications and CRM (ideally Salesforce).
- Coordinate business readiness and UAT activities:




- prepare test scenarios, environments and execution plans
- support testing, track issues and facilitate resolution
- obtain business approval for go‑live

Skills & Knowledge

- Experience across the full SDLC in business analysis, requirements facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong communication, analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to self‑manage, lead meetings and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Familiarity with BABOK and BA best practices.

Job Requirements

Minimum

- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum or equivalent).
- Certification in Scrum or Agile (CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or another enterprise CRM.
- 5+ year of relevant BA experience.
- Exposure to mobile application support or CRM‑integrated solutions.
