ATL Heavy Haul Inc. is looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager – Container & Logistics to grow our transportation business. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills, robust communication abilities, and experience developing long-term customer relationships.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, fleet clients, brokers, and partners.
• Identify new business opportunities in container transportation and logistics services.
• Generate leads and create sales strategies to increase company growth.
• Understand customer needs and provide customized freight and transportation solutions.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and service packages.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
• Manage customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Work with operations teams to deliver effective transportation solutions.
• Track sales performance and report progress regularly.
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Robust negotiation and sales skills.
• Ability to build customer trust and relationships.
• Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of trucking, containers, freight, and logistics industry.
• Experience with sales software and computer systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ years experience in trucking, logistics, transportation, or fleet sales.
• Container sales experience preferred.
• Inside sales and lead generation experience.
• Customer service and account management experience.
• Business Administration, Sales, or related education preferred.
