In this 12‑month contract, you’ll help restructure our existing single‑brand design system into a scalable multi‑brand architecture. That means separating shared platform foundations from brand‑specific expression, building a net‑new brand library, refactoring components, and supporting the prototype of a current e‑commerce experience using the system you’ve helped create.

What You Bring to the Table

A portfolio that proves you can build systems, not just screens: structured components, thoughtful patterns, scalable libraries, and design decisions that make life easier for system users.

Responsibilities
Audit and refactor existing component ecosystem.
Define and document token architecture.
Build and maintain a scalable component library.
Collaborate with UX, Design, Development, E‑commerce, and brand stakeholders.
Produce clear component specs, usage guidelines, and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills
Advanced Figma instincts: components, variants, properties, nested instances, auto‑layout, tokens, responsive behaviour.
Strong component architecture skills focused on maintainability and cross‑brand flexibility.
Token experience: primitive, semantic,



and component‑level tokens in color, typography, spacing, radius, elevation, etc.
Experience refactoring existing systems and separating brand‑specific assets from shared foundations.
Front‑end awareness: comfortable with HTML, CSS, and component‑based frameworks like React; understands handoff requirements.
Clear documentation and handoff habits: specs, guidelines, organized files.
Design fundamentals: typography, hierarchy, alignment, spacing, visual balance, polish, consistency.
Understanding of e‑commerce basics: product pages, offers, bundles, pricing hierarchy, CTAs, purchase paths.
