Join Comox Valley Home & Community Care as a Community Occupational Therapist in Courtenay, BC. Your expertise will support rehabilitation through direct services, client education, and caregiver consultation.
In this casual role, you’ll work independently under the direction of the Manager and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. You will provide occupational therapy services, offer consultations to clients and caregivers, and educate the community about rehabilitation interventions. Your understanding of patient safety and commitment to quality care will greatly impact the lives of your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to referred clients
• Consult and educate caregivers on rehabilitation strategies




• Work collaboratively with other health specialists
• Assess and observe clients for effective service delivery
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Current licensure with BC College of Health and Care Professionals
• Minimum two years of post-graduate experience
• Valid BC Driver's License required
• Community experience is preferred
