This role involves guiding students through their learning journey in the Addictions and Mental Health Qualified Program at SIIT. As an Instructor, you will prepare lesson plans, manage instructional activities, and evaluate students' progress to enhance their learning experience. You will also foster an inclusive workplace integral to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver engaging lesson plans
• Incorporate up-to-date technology in educational practices
• Keep records of attendance and course evaluation
• Assess and document student learning outcomes
• Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom culture
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education or related degree required
• Teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of First Nations cultures is a plus
• Understanding of adult learning principles beneficial
• Ability to merge contemporary approaches with Indigenous knowledge
