Become a vital part of our Aquatic Centre community as a Casual Building Custodian! Your role will focus on maintaining a pristine environment while working flexible shifts throughout the week.
As a Building Custodian, you will manage essential janitorial duties including mopping, cleaning washrooms, and dusting various surfaces. Under the supervision of the Guest Services Supervisor, you will ensure that all areas remain hygienic and inviting. Ability to lift up to 30lbs and punctuality are critical. You'll also maintain accurate cleaning logs and manage product inventories while adhering to WHMIS guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform janitorial tasks throughout the Aquatic Centre
• Ensure cleanliness in high-traffic areas and washrooms




• Document cleaning logs and manage inventory records
• Help maintain outdoor entrances with snow removal
• Collaborate closely with the Guest Services Supervisor
Requirements:
• Prior experience in janitorial work required
• CPR/First Aid certification is necessary
• WHMIS training needed for safety compliance
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
• Provide transparent Criminal Reference and TB test
