As a Human Services Counsellor, you will work closely with individuals using drugs or alcohol. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and maintaining a supportive milieu. Your expertise in addiction counselling and community resource knowledge will guide clients through their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop therapeutic relationships with clients seeking withdrawal support
Complete client intakes, transfers, and discharges
Monitor clients for signs of overdose and withdrawal




Facilitate evidence-based group interventions and individual counselling
Engage in crisis prevention and intervention as needed

Requirements:
Diploma in Human Service Addiction Studies or equivalent
Experience in addiction counselling preferred
Knowledge of best practices in addictions care
Robust problem-solving and teamwork skills
Proficiency in clinical documentation systems
