Provide expert guidance in complex faculty matters at the University of Saskatchewan as a Faculty Relations Specialist. In this role, you'll resolve workplace grievances and contribute to governance initiatives while fostering positive relationships.
This permanent, full time position involves supporting investigations, collective bargaining, and advising on faculty agreements. You will lead training programs and enhance faculty relations practices, ensuring compliance and collaboration within the academic community.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate multifaceted issues and engage with diverse stakeholders across the university.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to collective bargaining and institutional projects
Support investigations into grievances and harassment
Advise leadership on faculty governance and agreements
Facilitate grievance resolution and conflict management
Conduct research on policies and leading practices
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in HR, labour relations, or related field
Minimum five years’ experience in a university setting
Knowledge of university governance and academic structures
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
