As part of MDA Space, a leader in satellite systems, the Structural Analyst role involves developing structural designs for antennas and electronic equipment.

An ideal candidate will utilize Nx/Nastran for static, dynamic, and thermoelastic analyses while collaborating in a dynamic engineering environment. Your insights will contribute significantly to the success of critical space missions. Key Responsibilities:

- Size components and identify design problem areas
- Calculate safety margins and document analyses
- Develop test procedures and write test reports
- Conduct static and energetic analyses using NASTRAN
- Collaborate with a concurrent engineering team

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 8 to 10 years of structural dynamics experience
- Proficiency with NASTRAN FEA software in NX environment
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of fatigue and structural testing is preferred
