Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, your role encompasses caring for ʔaq̓amnik̓ and spearheading health programs that respect cultural values. You will perform nursing duties, mentor care aides, and coordinate wellness initiatives. By managing community health assessments and resources, you contribute significantly to the overall health of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive health and wellness assessments
• Manage and supervise community care programs
• Collaborate with FNHA and health stakeholders
• Provide advocacy for client health perks
• Prepare and maintain essential health documentation
Requirements:
• Experience of 3–5+ years in nursing
• Registered and in positive standing with BCCNP
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• CPR-C and First Aid certification
• Familiarity with health management systems
