Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson & 4th Year Apprentice Electricians to join our team.
As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. Your expertise in electrical work and ability to read blueprints will be crucial in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems.
Duties:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Perform electrical wiring, conduit bending, and installation of fixtures
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
Provide guidance and training to apprentices when necessary
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role
Proficiency in electrical work including low voltage systems, logic controllers, and power distribution
Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Experience with renovating electrical systems is a plus
