Stantec, headquartered in Burnaby, BC, is actively seeking experienced engineers with a robust background in electrical systems and substation design. You will work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams to create effective project designs while engaging in hands-on site assessments.

This role emphasizes both technical expertise and effective mentoring of junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct power flow analysis and lightning protection studies
Design major equipment layouts and technical documentation
Collaborate with disciplines for complex technical challenges




Assist in proposal preparation and project planning
Ensure quality engineering services through QA/QC procedures

Requirements:
At least 6 years of detailed engineering for high voltage systems
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (P. Eng required)
Familiarity with various engineering software such as WinIGS
Excellent interpersonal and multitasking abilities
Valid driver’s license
