Role Overview

As part of our Retail team, the Associate Manager is responsible for creating a client experience that accurately reflects the ethos of our brand while building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service.

Responsibilities

- Performance to Goals: Meet and exceed individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
- Leadership and Initiative: Display a good sense of initiative, plan and prioritize, display strategic thinking and champion change in an effective manner; take pride in work and strive for excellence; take responsibility for performance and meet deadlines.
- People Development: Train and develop associates through role‑play and coaching, support the Store Manager with training, complete quarterly goal‑setting for personal development, provide 360‑degree coaching,



remain open to feedback.
- Communication and Relationship Building: Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills, adapt communication to all levels, promote business goals, remain calm and de‑escalate, collaborate effectively.
- Compliance: Manage personal timecards, maintain training, adhere to all company policies.
- Visual Merchandising / Client Experience: Follow visual guidelines, enforce excellent client service, maintain client books, thank you cards, execute event strategies, ensure superior client experience.

Qualifications

- Understand TUMI brand and passion for lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
- Value a cooperative environment and openness to feedback.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and use a ladder.
- Strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market; proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving KPIs.
- Flexible availability for nights, weekends, mornings and holidays.
- Strong sense of integrity and ability to lead by example.
- Strong time‑management skills.
