The Main Street
Project is hiring for Withdrawal Management Services at two locations in Winnipeg. As a Support Worker, you will engage with participants, helping them create individualized detox care plans while providing advocacy and resources. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those facing addiction issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate intake processes for new participants
- Administer and monitor medication as needed
- Build supportive relationships through regular check-ins
- Assist in crisis management and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records for participant care Requirements:
- Experience in human services, preferably with adults in crisis
- Relevant education in addiction or mental health
- Robust communication and record-keeping skills
- Familiarity with harm reduction and housing-first principles
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications Support individuals on their recovery journey and contribute to positive community change at Main Street Project.
