Survey Assistant – Grande Prairie, AB ($25-$30/hr.)

who, ideally, has experience in the Survey industry and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.

The Work:

- Assist with surveying oilfield and construction sites in Western Canada.
- Willing and able to travel as shift work may last up to 21 days.
- Take direction and instruction from the Crew Chief.




- Maintain a protected work setting and awareness of safety issues.
- Perform a variety of survey-related tasks such as use and/or maintenance of GPS equipment, ongoing survey data collection, and other duties as directed by the Crew Chief.
- Build a team environment through high-quality communication skills with trades, staff, and clients.

What you bring to the table:

- A High School Diploma and an interest in the Geomatics industry.
- Post-secondary Geomatics education is an asset.
- Familiarity with the work of a survey crew.
- Experience working in outdoor bush conditions as well as industrial construction sites.
- Certification in First Aid, H2S, CSTS, or equivalent.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Ability to provide a passing drug and alcohol test result upon request.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with riding ATVs and snowmobiles.
