What You’ll Get To Do

Provide leadership in development and implementation of plant safety initiatives

Oversee the optimization of production equipment, including kiln, grinding mills, and related processes and inputs including raw materials and fuels

Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts in cooperation with the Maintenance Manager

Coordinate refractory related activities, including selection, ordering, removal, installation, and maintenance of refractory history

Who we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Mechanical engineering discipline strongly preferred.

Cement and/or heavy industrial setting experience required

Previous leadership experience is an asset

Proven communication and relationship management skills

Problem solving skills and multi-discipline thinking

Excellent working knowledge with a variety of software





Safety and maintenance exposure is an asset

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

AutoCad experience nice to have

Work Environment

Role operates in a manufacturing location where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
