You will authenticate engineering assessments, support outage work, and provide expert guidance on pressure‑equipment conditions across multiple operating assets.
Complete engineering calculations for pressure‑equipment alterations and re‑ratings .
Provide engineering support for pressure‑equipment repairs and found‑work during outages.
Review and validate FFS assessments completed by external consultants.
Interface with provincial pressure‑equipment regulators (e.g., ABSA Design Survey).
Authenticate engineering deliverables in accordance with skilled practice standards.
Qualifications
P.Eng registration with APEGA; able to authenticate engineering work.
15+ years Oil & Gas / Oil Sands experience with pressure‑equipment engineering.
5+ years completing and authenticating API‑579 / ASME FFS‑1 Level 3 assessments.
Strong knowledge of ASME BPV , ASME B31 , and API‑579 / ASME FFS‑1 .
5+ years finite‑element analysis experience using Abaqus or ANSYS for FFS applications.
