Sourcing Manager – Richmond Hill, ON (Full time, On‑site)

Overview
The Global Sourcing and Contract Management team within OpenText Enterprise Information Management (EIM) is seeking a Sourcing Manager to design and execute sourcing strategies, identify cost savings, conduct vendor due diligence, manage RFx processes, negotiate contracts, and oversee supplier relationships for marketing and events categories.

Responsibilities

Build and strengthen stakeholder relationships to align sourcing strategies with business needs.

Develop and execute category plans that reduce costs and improve supplier performance.

Lead RFx processes and cross‑functional sourcing initiatives.

Use data‑driven insights and analytics to manage supplier selection and performance.

Conduct commercial negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes.

Ensure contract compliance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Support financial planning, budgeting, and sourcing activity forecasting.

Collaborate with marketing, sales, events, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless procurement experience.

Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Prioritize and deliver in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.

Lead complex negotiations with confidence and strong decision‑making.

Drive cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Leverage AI and analytics to enhance sourcing, reduce costs, and manage risk.

High degree of business ethics and accountability.

Category Management and Sourcing experience, including deep understanding of strategic sourcing best practices.

Strong understanding of marketing procurement categories: creative,



advertising, digital marketing services, media planning/buying, sponsorship initiatives, event management, production, experiential marketing, promotional merchandise, print, branded materials, travel and hospitality procurement.

Educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain; certification is an asset.

5+ years in strategic sourcing & category management; 3+ years managing marketing, media, agency, or events procurement categories.

Robust knowledge of business processes, controls, and continuous improvement.

Global mindset; international experience preferred.

Excellent communication, influence, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation
Salary Range: $86,800 – $130,200 (depending on education, experience, skills, location, and internal equity).
