Project Context
The Mechanical Engineer will contribute to steam generator refurbishment and replacement projects within the nuclear sector. This role involves design, field problem‑solving, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with nuclear standards and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design and analysis for steam generator removal, reassembly, and refurbishment.

Ensure compliance with nuclear standards (e.g., ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, CSA N285).

Provide on‑site technical support, troubleshooting, and decision‑making during field operations.





Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to align project execution with technical requirements.

Develop and review technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

Mechanical design experience with a focus on process or system engineering.

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (nuclear industry experience highly valued).

Professional Engineering License (P.Eng) or eligibility for licensure in Canada.

Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., CAD, analysis tools).

Ability to work on‑site in Kincardine with hybrid flexibility.

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

Knowledge of ASME/CSA nuclear standards (e.g., ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, CSA N285).

Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive).

Strong communication skills to articulate technical arguments and collaborate effectively.
