We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Power Capacitor Design Engineer to join our Grid Components team in Mount Pleasant, PA. How You'll Make an Impact Support tendering engineers for custom/special designs by creating costing BOM and preliminary drawings in CAD.
Collaborate with order managers, mechanical, and control engineers on engineering activities.
Ensure the design of products and/or systems meets bid requirements and negotiated agreements.
Provide technical support to customers and Sales Representatives/Regional Managers.
Assist with FAT‑related activities at Local Assembly Units (LAU) when required.
Create specifications and drawings for capacitor bank components and participate in the approval process.




Visit customers and make presentations as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background Bachelor's or college degree in Electrical Engineering.
3 to 8 years of experience in a similar role.
Work authorization to permit employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Familiarity with U.S./North American design standards (IEEE) is a plus.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
