Job Overview We are looking for an energetic Adventure & Experiences Guide to assist in delivering our Adventure & Experiences Guiding program. The role requires excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn. Starting pay is $25.50 per hour, increasing after six months and annually up to $29.30 at three years. The position is available immediately and will close in January 2027.
Job Duties & Responsibilities Lead and guide experiences, including guided wilderness, vehicle and bike tours, walks, and hikes.
Share the history and culture of the Canadian Rockies enthusiastically.
Contact guests before arrival to ensure smooth delivery of guided experiences.
Sell, book, and update guided experiences.
Provide a positive, safe, and memorable experience for each guest.
Maintain positive working relationships with Parks Canada and adhere to all regulations.
Set up activities and complete clean‑up duties, including cleaning and sanitizing spaces and objects before, during, and after programs.
Qualifications Minimum 16‑hour Standard First Aid & CPR C level or higher.
Apprentice Interpretive Guide Certification from IGA or equivalent.
Four‑Season Group Management Certification from IGA required.
Class 4 driver’s license and clean driving record.
At least one year of recent experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced recreational or guiding workplace.




Excellent organizational skills and the ability to solve problems and respond to changing conditions.
Positive, outgoing, professional attitude with a passion for National Parks and the Town of Banff.
Graduate or student of an Outdoor Recreation, Ecotourism, or Tourism program is an asset.
Physically fit and able to run activities in any weather, including walking, hiking, and biking.
Able to lift and carry 40+ lbs and stand for at least 8 hours a day.
