The individual possesses a thorough understanding of all Facilities and Production System(s). The individual will be responsible for the safe repair and maintenance of production equipment and general building services. The individual will work to support production by preserving the condition and functionality of production equipment.
Accountabilities
Visibly demonstrate a thorough understanding and adhere to WR Meadows Corporate Policies
Visibly demonstrate a thorough understanding and adhere to Safety Management Systems Policies
Actively support WR Meadows’s safety culture via communication to and mentoring of production staff.
Visibly demonstrate a thorough understanding and adhere to Environmental Management Policies
Complete WR Meadows Learning System training as assigned
Maintain maintenance records utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (EPAC)
Responsibilities: Business and Operations
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic nature on all types of manufacturing equipment.
Repair or replace defective parts and reassemble equipment to working conditions.
Understand and perform the Preventative Maintenance Program.
Identify and report any maintenance issues on machines and equipment.
Detect and report any improper operation, faulty equipment, defective material, or unusual conditions, which may affect plant safety, efficiency or security.
Identify and report any equipment, operational or safety problems or material deficiencies.
Compile maintenance and/or repair parts list and maintain inventory of spare parts
Follow the plant’s housekeeping and safety requirements and standards.
Complete all necessary reports and forms, including maintaining maintenance and efficiency records for the plant and equipment.
Maintain maintenance records and reports
Move and handle materials as necessary.
Communicate and coordinate work activities with operations technicians.
Construct, alter, and improvise available manufacturing equipment for special requirements.
Construct or specify parts, mechanisms, devices, or apparatus as necessary.
Provides instruction, training and guidance to employees and outside contractors within the plant.
Assists in new equipment installation and equipment repairs.
Safety, Security and Emergency Response (SSER)
Visibly demonstrate knowledge and compliance with WR Meadows’s Safety Management System Policies and Standards
Actively participates in WR Meadows's safety culture by participating in safety meetings, Hazard Identification and Near Miss reporting, and Incident Investigations
Visibly demonstrate knowledge and compliance with WR Meadows safe work practices outlined in WR Meadows’s SMS
Complete required training courses.
Follow WR Meadows reporting requirements for Incidents, Near Misses, Hazard Identification, Environmental spills/releases and Regulatory Compliance.
Responsible for costs under their control

Role Competencies and Qualifications
Technical training preferred but not required.
5+ years of hands‑on industrial mechanical experience.
Valid Driver’s License
