Responsabilités Client

Act as an expert of the branch for clients and colleagues on TD products, services, policies, and procedures, especially on personal and commercial banking services.

Consistently provide sound advice to clients, contributing to an exceptional client experience.

Know clients and advise them to meet or exceed their needs, being very curious and attentive.

Improve clients’ financial confidence by answering questions and maintaining dialogue.

Communicate actively with clients (phone, email, etc.) to discuss portfolio updates or other placement opportunities better suited to their needs.

Conduct comprehensive financial assessments and make recommendations based on clients’ personal situations.

Resolve client issues with accuracy and efficiency; escalated when necessary.

Maintain deep knowledge of the local market, competition, and economic trends to support recommendations.

Help maintain the professional and welcoming appearance of branch common areas, respecting regulatory, marketing, and local guidelines; pay special attention to the spaces occupied by Personal Bankers.

Support frontline colleagues for operations, as needed.

Act as a higher‑level instance, as needed; support and advise frontline colleagues; resolve client issues satisfactorily.

Take necessary due diligence to ensure accuracy of all operations and activities.

Stay current on new challenges or trends and evolving regulatory requirements and assess their potential impact.

Maintain a culture of risk management and oversight supported by effective processes aligned with tolerance levels.

Assume responsibility for operational and regulatory risk mitigation by adhering to TD codes of conduct and industry standards.

Act as a team leader or higher‑level instance for complex issues to coordinate work of others and coach to maintain service, process, and product standards.

Understand how client or advisory teams collaborate with others to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve common goals.

Have direct impact on quality of tasks or services offered by advisory teams and supported units.

Implement necessary procedures and approaches for advisory and client service tasks.

Possess the tact necessary to convey concise and logical client information; handle delicate client data and resolve exception cases.

Normally hold required certifications for this level of expertise.

Generally report to a branch associate director or branch manager.

Qualifications

High school diploma.

At least one year of relevant experience.

Cours de l’IFIC or Canadian securities trading courses.

Obtain the Financial Services Advisory Certification upon hire.

Postsecondary degree or bachelor’s degree in a related field is an asset.
