ECI Dartmouth, part of Steele Auto Group, is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead a high‑performing shop.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the shop floor by supervising technicians and coordinating daily operations to keep work moving efficiently and on schedule.

Assign and prioritize work to ensure quality repairs and on‑time completion.

Coach, mentor, and develop team members while promoting safety and best practices.

Monitor workmanship, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement; oversee shop workflow, equipment, and maintenance to maintain a safe and organized workplace.

Collaborate with leadership on staffing, planning, and performance, providing hands‑on support when needed.

Requirements

5+ years of heavy‑duty technician experience, including leadership experience.

Skilled in gas and diesel truck and equipment diagnostics and repair.

Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities.





Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, DMS systems, and technology‑based tools.
