Calgary-based client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its high-performing Finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing financial processes, leveraging technology, and providing value-added insights to support leadership decision-making. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statement note disclosures and support MD&A; review.

Contribute to the month-end close process and ensure general ledger accuracy and completeness.

Prepare monthly internal financial reporting packages and related analyses.

Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, including lease and PP&E; continuity schedules.





Serve as the primary liaison with U.S. Property Tax advisors, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.

Analyze and document complex transactions in compliance with IFRS and provide actionable financial insights.

Support internal controls and audit activities, including internal, external, and tax audits, while responding to ad hoc financial requests.

Your strengths include:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a CPA (or equivalent qualified designation) required.

3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; experience with Oracle NetSuite and/or Hyperion is considered an asset.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working across all levels of the organization.
