Hours: Monday to Friday - (hours flexible based on operational needs)

We are currently seeking a Security Program Manager to lead security operations at a healthcare site in Toronto. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing frontline staff, and ensuring a safe and secure workplace for patients, visitors, and staff.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead and manage the on-site security team, including scheduling, performance management, and coaching
- Oversee daily security operations, ensuring coverage, compliance, and service delivery standards are met
- Act as the primary point of contact for hospital leadership and internal stakeholders
- Respond to and manage incidents, including emergencies, patient escalations, and security concerns
- Ensure all officers are following site-specific policies, procedures, and healthcare protocols
- Monitor incident trends and develop proactive strategies to address risks and improve service delivery




- Conduct site audits, post inspections, and ensure documentation and reporting standards are maintained
- Support onboarding, training, and development of security staff
- Collaborate closely with clinical teams, facilities, and external partners as required
- Maintain a strong, professional presence and support a respectful, patient-focused environment

WHAT YOU BRING

- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within security (healthcare experience strongly preferred)
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a professional manner
- Strong understanding of report writing, investigations, and incident management
- Experience working in a unionized or large-scale environment is an asset
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
