What you’ll do
Client Relationship management

Build and maintain excellent relations with client contacts

Ensure the team provides top-quality services to clients

Provide relevant information to clients on administrative issues and legislative requirements

Coordinate DB Admin related services including web tools and call centre services

Understand the client's perspective and priorities, and collaborate to resolve administrative issues

Participate in governance initiatives including service review meetings and reporting

Facilitate communication between clients and our team

Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing clients

Manage Service Agreements by ensuring regular reviews and timely preparation of fee adjustments and renewals

Subject Matter Expertise

Review work including benefit calculations, annual statements, and other relevant reports in accordance with pension plan rules and applicable legislation

Oversee implementation of process improvement initiatives, present solutions to internal stakeholders and analyze success metrics

Lead internal initiatives that enhance our service delivery

Project management

Plan and manage deliverables across multiple client teams

Ensure appropriate resources are assigned to client responsibilities

Lead special projects as required

Collaborate with resources in other departments

Talent management and Coaching

Function as a team leader, overseeing work of other team members

Conduct annual performance reviews and provide constructive feedback on a regular basis

Act as a mentor, supporting the growth and development of other team members

Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives

Assist with recruiting efforts

Conduct training sessions

What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications





Demonstrated expertise in DB Pension Administration – We value candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR equivalent demonstrated expertise gained through professional certifications, specialized training, or progressive career development in pension administration

Post-secondary education in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or other relevant field, OR relevant qualified certifications (such as CEBS, PPAC, or equivalent)

Strong knowledge of provincial pension and tax legislation relevant to your region

Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities

Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal

Customer-focused mindset with professional acumen and ability to build relationships

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Experience with pension administration software

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Detail-oriented approach to work, with strong quality assurance practices

Valued Assets

CEBS or PPAC designation (we support professional development for candidates pursuing these credentials)

Bilingualism (English and French) – particularly valuable for serving Quebec-based clients; we support language training for interested employees

Experience with process improvement or change management initiatives

Background in mentoring or developing team members

Salary Range: $70,000 - $120,000 CAD Annual





Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
