Assume a vital role as the Mental Wellness Clinical Leader at the Tŝilhqot’in National Government in Williams Lake, BC. This full time position is dedicated to enhancing community mental health services.

In this permanent role, you will guide a team focusing on trauma-informed care within Tŝilhqot’in communities. The position requires a Master’s degree and ten years of relevant experience, emphasizing the importance of cultural competency. Your leadership will shape mental health education and service delivery in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the mental wellness team and its initiatives
• Attend regional meetings for stakeholder collaboration
• Prepare reports on mental health projects and findings




• Introduce capacity-building opportunities for clinicians
• Administer mental health budgets across the program

Requirements:
• Master’s in Social Work or Clinical Psychology
• Minimum ten years of experience in mental health services
• Specialized training in trauma therapy techniques
• Strong understanding of First Nations cultural practices
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
